It is best to remove all earrings prior to the treatment sessions. Should ear seeds be applied to continue treatment for the next few days after your session you should not wear earrings whilst these are in place. Please note: all ear seeds should be removed one week after application to prevent the possibility of them becoming embedded in the surface of your ear.
It is recommended that you refrain from drinking alcohol or taking recreational drugs on the day of treatment, particularly after the treatment, as both can impair the efficacy of the auriculotherapy, and sometimes cause light-headedness or excessive lethargy. This will usually pass after a good night’s sleep.
It is advisable to not do vigorous aerobic exercise after your treatment as this will mask the effect of the treatment and stress your body.
